I am very happy to be back. Faker after first win at 2019 World Championship
T1 player Lee Faker San Hyuk commented on his return to the League of Legends World Cup. After defeating Fnatic as part of the 2019 World Championship group stage, the esportsman said he was glad to participate in the tournament again.
Lee Faker San Hyuk:
“I was disappointed to miss Worlds last year, so I am very happy to be back in the tournament and the first victory. <…> Hello, European fans. I returned”.
In 2018, Faker took seventh place at the 2018 LCK Summer and did not qualify for the 2018 World Championship. This year, T1 became the leader of the qualifying tournament and received a slot at the World Cup. The performance in the group stage, the Koreans began with a victory – in the next match T1 will play with Royal Never Give Up. The confrontation is scheduled for October 13, 15:00 Moscow time.
The 2019 World Championships are held in Berlin, Madrid and Paris from October 2 to November 10. At the championship there are 24 teams.
