Riot Games introduced a new mode for Legends of Runeterra

Riot Games talked about the changes for Legends of Runeterra, which will take effect with the launch of the second demo of the CCI. Developers will add a mode with elements of the Expedition draft to the game, as well as update 40 maps, including the Lux champion.

In the new format, users will create a deck from scratch, gradually expanding it with sets of cards from different archetypes. When the assembly is ready, the player will be asked to pass the first test, consisting of seven battles of different difficulty levels. After each victory, it will be possible to replenish the deck with new cards or exchange some of them with the offered ones.

The test will end if the user goes through all levels or loses twice in a row – the defeat in the seventh round will automatically end the run. After that, the second series of similar matches will open. Depending on the end result, the player will receive certain rewards. All participants in the second test will be given one expedition token and 8 thousand fragments for testing the regime.

Riot Games will hold the second Legends of Runeterra preliminary test from November 14 to 19. A full release on PC and mobile devices will be held in 2020. You can learn more about CCI in the League of Legends universe in our article.
