Caster League LMS did not hold back tears when the J Team left the 2019 World Championship for League of Legends. The team from Taiwan tied all the matches of the group stage – this was not enough to reach the playoff stage.

J Team was one of the main contenders among LMS teams to enter the 2019 World Championship playoffs. At the time of publication of the news, two more representatives of the region continue to fight in the tournament – Hong Kong Attitude and ahq e-Sports Club. They occupy the last places in their groups with statistics 0: 3 and almost lost the chance to get to the next stage.

In the comments to the video, it was suggested that the caster’s emotions were caused not only by defeat, but also by the fact that next year LMS will cease to be an independent region in League of Legends. In 2020, Riot Games will combine LMS and LST to launch a separate PCS (Pacific League Championship Series) league for ten teams. It will include representatives from Taiwan, the Philippines, Thailand, Indonesia, Malaysia and Singapore.
