The next update for Mac will not allow players to install League of Legends

In October 2019, Apple plans to release for Mac the latest version of the operating system – Catalina. According to representatives of Riot, it can create difficulties for fans of League of Legends and Teamfight Tactics.

Users who have already downloaded the LoL client are not at risk. Difficulties may arise when trying to install the game from scratch. Riot has already warned Mac users that they need to hurry if they want to reinstall the client. What is the reason for this problem and whether it will be possible to eliminate it in the future, representatives of Riot did not say.

Shio Shoujo:

“If you know someone who is interested in League of Legends, ask them to download the game before Catalina or to not update their Mac until we figure it out.”

Catalina is the 16th version of macOS named after a rocky island in the Pacific Ocean. The operating system should be released in October, there is no exact release date.
