The League of Legends 2019 World Championship streams brought together up to 44 million users simultaneously. This was reported by Riot Games.

But with all the refinement of its mechanics, the “League” would not have had so many fans, if not for the events, promotions and special events. They are awesome! For almost every world-famous holiday (New Year, February 14, April 1), characteristic features appear in the game: cards, modes, task chain, images of champions and much, much more. For example, one of my favorite time modes is U.R.F. (Ultra Destructive Format), which was sometimes introduced on April Fool’s Day.

Special mode of U.R.F. was named in honor of the widely known in the circles of fans of League of Legends manatee Urfa. Once this champion, along with his deadly golden shovel, was expected in the Fields of Justice, but he disappeared into the sea. But the memory of him lives.
